THE PASSIVE, Feb. 11th

Change an active voice sentence to the passive voice, or change a passive voice sentence to the active voice.

If the car had been taken into the garage for regular service, the worn brakes might have been fixed sooner.

If I had took the car into the garage for regular service, I would had fixed the worn brakes sooner.

Good, you have given a subject for the verbs; now fix the verb tenses;-) Verb tenses are tricky with conditional clauses--check pgs 412-415 in the SB.

Lorraine: Better, but you need the vern in the first clause in the past perfect--had taken;-)
