SENTENCE COMPLETION, May 20th

Use the type of clause, phrase, or grammar indicated to complete the following sentence; you can add the phrase or clause before or after the clause below:

... I enjoyed/didn't enjoy the Victoria Day weekend ...

1. Use a phrase
2. Use an adverbial clause of time
3. Use a dependent clause (other than an adverbial clause of time)
4. Use an independent clause

I didn't enjoy the Victoria day weekend because Queen Victoria's birthday is not celebrated in the Philippines.

#1: you haven't added anything--add a phrase.
#2: Yes, but watch the punctuation:)
#3: You have changed the main clause into another adverbial clause of time.
#4: There are two words missing from the clause that you added;)
