SENTENCE COMPLETION, Feb. 3rd

Use the type of clause, phrase, or grammar indicated to complete the following sentence; you can add the phrase or clause before or after the clause below:

Lorraine: #1--this is an independent clause; #2--you have turned the orginal independent clause into a dependent one and added an independent clause. #3--use a semicolon so that you don't have two separate sentences. Good try;-)

Lorraine: #1--that's better; #2--you have still changed the independent clause into a dependent one ("when" or "since" introduce dependent clauses); #3--good.
