VOCABULARY, Feb. 27th

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. Use the following two words (note the part of speech) in one sentence.

synthetically (adverb) + impervious (noun)

I am changing the synthetically oil in my car and I appreciate my gloves for their imperviousness

Lorraine: You seem to understand the words correctly, but in your sentence, the adverb is modifying the noun--it needs to modify a verb--and you changed the form of the noun.
