Congratulations again to Iannou for successfully solving last week's puzzle. For the answer, please see below.

This was a real toughie!

I think the missing letters are e,r, and t.

This is my attempt to recreate the quotations:

1. Action is a great store and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all.

2. Prayer is a thought, a belief, a feeling, arising within the mind of the one praying.

Iannou: I'm glad that proved to be a little more difficult--you obviously need a challenge;-)

I do enjoy the puzzles a lot, Veronica :)

I can't claim complete victory on this one, though. I guessed the missing letters correctly, but after I submitted my response, I googled the quotes and I found out I didn't get the first one quite right.

So, maybe the point should go to whoever (ok, whomever) can get the all the words right -- without googling it, of course ;)

Hint: "so" is not "store" as I guessed.

Iannou: I must admit, I didn't check the specific answer after I found that you had the missing letters correct. Yes, googling is cheating--I'll have to stop using quotations!

I kept thinking about this puzzle for an hour. Iannou got it right Veronica. I can't find any wrong with it. Right Iannou? You are smart Iannou. Congrats

Thanks, Evitha

Yes, I also thought it looked right when I submitted it. But the actual quote, which I found on the web afterwards is "Action is a great restorer, and builder of confidence ..."

I know it wasn't necessary to complete the entire quotation to figure out which letters were missing, but it was an interesting challenge.

I do word puzzles all the time, just for fun. I'll try to resist answering right away next time and give someone else a chance to solve it first.

Evitha: I had to make this one harder as the others proved to be too easy for Iannou;-) But, as he admits, he didn't get it completely right the first time.
Iannou: Next time, do all of the other activities first!
