Correct the errors in the following sentence:
The team were fantastic. They won the game easily and with style however the crowd were booing the referee because of a dubious call and it threw empty bottles on the field.

The team was fantastic. It won the game easily, with style. However, because of a dubious call, the referee has been booing by the crowd, which threw empty bottles on the field.
