Dave: #1--that's a phrase, but it's not making much sense--perhaps you can adjust it a little; #s 2 and 3--very good.
Bich-Thuy: #1--the right idea, but remember that when you use since, the verb is usually in the present perfect tense, so your finished sentence isn't quite right; #2--that's an excellent phrase; #3--good, now remember the punctuation;-)
