VOCABULARY, Mar. 30th, 2010

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. Use the following two words (note the part of speech) in one sentence.


feckless (adjective)     +    veracity   (noun)

This letter is feckless to be veracity.

DANIEL: Partially correct --"feckless" is OK, but after "to be" you would need another adjective in this sentence, but "veracity" is a noun.

My son is not known for his veracity so we did not believe his feckless attempts to explain what happened to the car.
