COMPLETE THE SENTENCE ... Feb. 24th, 2010

Use the type of clause, phrase, or grammar indicated to complete the following sentence; you can add the phrase or clause before or after (not both) to the clause below:

1=Yesterday afternoon we saw many interesting people and places.
2= We saw many interesting people and places as we were shopping in the West Edmonton Mall.
3=We went to a festival yesterday. We saw many interesting people and places.

DANIEL: #1--good; #2--good; #3--you've added a sentence instead of a clause--you need to use a semicolon between these two;-)

Correction of #3:

It was amazing, we saw many interesting people and places.

DANIEL: Yes, but note that you should have a semicolon betweenthose two independent clauses;-)
